I recognize that she is in part, an emotional quality. Yearning for her, freedom from the things that may hold us back and distract us from living and being the most authentic, present, and loving self we are meant to be is quite common, and impacts even the most affluent in our society. (think of addictions to power, money, substances, food, work, etc). However, if all of us go back to moments when we have felt truly free and loved, our hearts more readily, and with greater facility, engage in creative solutions to "welcoming the stranger" amongst us, and creating a society for which sustaining economic, environmental, social and political issues move closer to collective goals and support.
To a Fourth of July attuned to the heart!
